Practicing under the supervision of Amy Birchill Lavergne, M.Ed., LMFT-S, LPC-S.
Completed Level I Gottman Method
I am an LGBTQ+ affirming Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate under supervision of Amy Birchill Lavergne, M.Ed., LMFT-S, LPC-S.
I have experience working with a variety of clients and concerns including navigation through symptoms of anxiety and stress, identity exploration, adolescent and youth challenges, emotion recognition and management, and relationship concerns (i.e., communication challenges, infidelity, premarital therapy, etc).
I enjoy supporting my clients through various systemic and dynamic challenges and approach their concerns with an understanding that they are the experts in their own lives.
I have experience working with individuals, adolescents, couples, and different family groups. I work to establish and nurture trust, pursue progress towards goals and create successful treatment outcomes.
My focus in the therapy office is to provide you support in the healing and processing of trauma, create a safe place you to explore your real authentic self, and in turn, enhance the quality of the different relationships on which your narrative is established.
I practice based on a narrative approach that is grounded in your values and beliefs. Ultimately, my goal for you is to highlight your strengths, begin the empathetic process of healing, and collaborate on ways to enhance your confidence to live authentically; to “re-author” the narrative.
I am a proud partnered therapist with the Pride Center in San Antonio and am a participating member of the Texas Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
